Roof Leak: Catch the Water, Protect the Home

Why do roof leaks appear far from the leak?

Water enters at a roof breach, then runs down slopes, along rafters, and across insulation before it drips. A stain in the living room can trace to a valley, flashing, vent boot, or chimney far away. That is why the fix is both roof repair and indoor drying: track the moisture, dry the structure, then repair.
